It’s been
more than twenty years since their first album was released, and the band has
recently announced an upcoming tour to coincide with their tenth studio album,
set to drop in October, 2013 in the U.S. The group’s much-anticipated new
album, Lightning Bolt is being released on Monkeywrench/Republic Records, and was produced
by Brendan O’Brien. Lightning Bolt is Pearl Jam’s first studio album since their highly
acclaimed Backspacer, released nearly four nears ago in September, 2009.
